Chapter 1 - Part 2
Naoto was unable to comprehend and understand “How does one, prepare such a breakfast so perfectly and smoothly, every single morning in such a short time?”
“Here’s your milk, you better eat quickly or else we’ll be late” said Haruka.
He grabbed the remaining dish of bacon, fried egg and a slice of toast, along with his favorite mug and placed them all on the dining table.
“You seem to be in high spirits, from early morning till now . . . . .” muttered Naoto as he sat down beside the table.
He glanced at his childhood friends head as usual. On top of her head appeared these strange digits, only he can see.

The numbers he saw was 10500.  Compare to Naoto, the numbers were higher than his. The problem didn’t just happen in one or two days ago. However, it’s 50 times higher this morning than yesterday. Apparently, he didn’t have to worry about her Physical Health.
“Alright, I’m going to dig in” said Naoto
“Go ahead” replied Haruka
Because he was able to wake up just at the perfect time, Naoto was able to fully enjoy a meal of breakfast. Naoto clapped both his hands together and gave a small prayer of thanks for the food. Feeling thankful for the warm food he started to dig in.
Applying a large amount of margarine onto his toast, he then took a big bite. This is the exact taste that one must have every morning.
Along with the fried crispy bacon, sticking on top of the fried egg together, while retaining that soft yolk and tender egg whites.
This is just the way Naoto loves it. What delicacies. The small salad side dish is topped with a lemon aroma seasoning that brings out its freshness and its deliciousness.
However, he suddenly remembered that he doesn’t have any of these sorts of high-end seasoning, inside his refrigerator.
“Say Haruka, this wouldn’t be your doing is it?” asked Naoto
He reckons, that Haruka may have already eaten her breakfast at her home before arriving here. Haruka nodded her head as she sat across from him.
“Of course, it is, didn’t you just see me cook a fried egg a while ago, Lord Naoto?” replied Haruka.
“I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about the seasoning on this salad dish” said Naoto.
Naoto pointed his fork at the salad dish, which became a salad bowl . . .
As a result, Haruka nodded her head again and laughed.
“Ah! you’re talking about this. That’s right Lord Naoto, because the only seasoning you had in your fridge was mayonnaise.”
“Ha…, but why didn’t you just add the mayonnaise directly onto the salad?”
“It doesn’t take a lot of effort to make them anyway. Why? Does it taste bad?” asked Haruka
“Nope, not at all, on the contrary, I’m touched and the food taste delicious”
“Oh! hehe, that’s great!”
“What’s that weird laugh of yours supposed to mean?” asked Naoto.

He wasn’t sure if that laugh was supposed to be embarrassed or an arrogant laugh? On the other hand, Naoto unable to put an effort to return a forced smile or a laugh back at Haruka, instead he happily continues to grab another tomato with his fork.
Although, it’s not a matter of one or two times. However, He still has to acknowledge his childhood friend’s talented cooking skills. Not only is she talented in cooking but she also excels in ALL the housework.
Because of this, Naoto was unable to lift his head up high in front of Haruka.
Originally, Harukas mother---who is the owner of the apartment-- had already accepted the idea to rent the room out to Naoto for free based on their their Aunt and nephew relationship. Plus on top of that, with haruka coming over, every single morning, waking him up and things like making him meals, doing housework etc… are all covered in his rent. (TN: wow he’s so SPOILED... what a lazy lucky boy)
He’s only started living by himself and it hasn’t even been a couple years and now he has entered a situation where he can’t even imagine living without, Haruka and her mom. (TN: O.O)
“Wow..I guess I’m really pampered and spoiled” he thought to himself(TN: you think so?)
After, Naoto finished his last bite of his toast, he let out a small sigh in his heart.
He doesn’t know when it started, somehow he’s been eating the breakfast that haruka prepared for him without even questioning or resisting it. He’s once thought if he should treat this as a mentality problem but it is now gradually becoming a distant, thought of the past.

Well, that’s because in the end he’s lived a very comfortable life. Every single day, his life has been peaceful. That’s because of Haruka and her mom. They’ve provided him with such a comfortable life.
At the bottom of his heart he felt grateful for everything but at the same time, he somewhat felt that he did not deserve it or was not privileged.
Even so, it would truly be a shame to miss this kind of warm breakfast. Therefore, Naoto chewed his second tomato quietly. As he enjoys the peaceful surrounding of his living room.
From the apartment to New Kawahama First High School, it takes Naoto and Haruka 30 minutes on foot to get to their High School.
If they were to take the bus they’ll have more leisure time at home but for someone that hates the crowdedness of the bus, like Naoto who likes the bustling crowded streets of the city, he’d rather walk to school.
Naoto and Haruka left home together.
Clearly, Naoto has told Haruka several times, that she doesn’t have to walk with him. She might as well just take the bus, but she always dismiss it every time with a laugh. Saying that walking is beneficial for your health. However, when school is over and when there is a time when they can’t go back home together, without the slightest hesitation, she’ll choose to take a bus home.  Therefore, her so called definition of “Health” seems quite equivalent to free and doing as one pleases.

    1. Hello! Thank you for taking the time and reading. Can you specify which main series you're referring to? I know that Bloodedge Experience wasn't fully translated but I thought others such as variable heart got a translation a couple years back.

    2. Hey, thanks for the reply.
      I was refering to this:
      https://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=BlazBlue
Bloodedge Experience is like a spin-off of the main BlazBlue story (Phase Shift 0 to 4 and The BlazBlue series volumes 1 to 4).

    3. I see, I knew of the phase shift series but most BlazBlue light novels have already been translated. For now we're sticking to Bloodedge Experience and don't know what other novels we will translate but we will keep it in mind. Thank you!
